Free Counseling & Enrollment Planning
First, in a free counseling session, we will carefully listen to your views on marriage, your matchmaking history, and your desired timeline. You can see exactly how many members match your criteria and learn how the system works. Rest assured, there is absolutely no pressure to join. Once you decide to enroll, we move to formal procedures and activity planning. As the first step toward marriage, we create a profile with your counselor to maximize your appeal. We also provide professional support for booking a photo studio and drafting your self-introduction. Once documents are submitted and registration is complete, your activity begins.
Partner Search
Using a system with one of the industry's largest user bases*, search for partners 24/7 from your PC or smartphone. Beyond age and occupation, find your ideal match through hobbies, values, and compatibility. If you find someone interesting, apply for a meeting (Omiai). You can always consult your counselor on who to apply to or how to handle received applications. (*Utilizing the IBJ network)
Matchmaking (Omiai)
If both parties want to meet, an Omiai is arranged. Your counselor handles all scheduling and venue reservations (e.g., hotel lounges) for efficiency. The meeting takes about 60 minutes. Enjoy tea while getting to know the other person's character and atmosphere. Contact details are not exchanged on the day; instead, report your results to the counselor via the system by noon the next day. Contact info is disclosed only if both parties wish to proceed. We also provide careful feedback and advice for next time.
Assessment Period (Pre-dating)
If you hit it off, you advance to 'Pre-dating' (Kari-kosai). During this period, you can date multiple people. Through casual dates like lunch or dinner, deepen your understanding of each other's values and marriage views. Reflect on your dates with your counselor to calmly assess if this is the person you want to date seriously. You can consult us about any concerns at any time.
Serious Relationship
Move on to 'Serious Relationship' (Shinken-kosai) with one person, with marriage in mind. You can no longer meet others; cherish this time for just the two of you. Align your concrete post-marriage image (work, housing, family planning, etc.) and deepen your bond. Any concerns difficult to ask directly can be resolved through your counselor. We provide detailed support so you can proceed to marriage with peace of mind.
Proposal
When your mutual feelings are solidified, it’s time for the proposal. We advise on the situation, timing, and production to make it a lifetime memory. We also consult on the timing and preparation for greeting parents if necessary. Your counselor will support you wholeheartedly until the end so you can welcome your new beginning in the best way.
Marriage & Withdrawal
Once the proposal is successful and the intent to marry is confirmed, you are officially 'married' (Seikon) and proceed with withdrawal. Congratulations! We continue to offer free consultation and support for your new life, including wedding venue selection, honeymoons, and housing. We sincerely wish you everlasting happiness.
